Due to the influence of Covid-19, IAOM members didn’t physically gather in a large group this year. Instead, the SEA Region Conference gathering moved to a virtual event platform.
The SEA Region Virtual Conference event was held October 6-8 (MYT), 2020. This was designed to replace the 11th Annual IAOM Southeast Asia Region Conference & Expo which had been scheduled to take place in Penang, Malaysia. The in-person meeting was also canceled due to the risks associated with large in-person gatherings during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Beyond expectations, more than one hundred (100) people signed up and joined this meeting. During the meeting, Sales Director of GGI Golden Grain, Mr. Mark W Lyons conducted a presentation covering New Flour Mill Equipment and analyzed GGI equipment in principle and application aspects which attracted the audiences attention.
